I can no longer set the time on my Canon EOS 100D with libgphoto2
version 2.5.13. Version 2.5.8 works OK. (These are the versions
currently available from the OpenSUSE 42.1 repositories, so easy for me
to test.) I've attached log files.

Can you try
--set-config datetimeutc=now

I split off the UTC and non-UTC time and the non-UTC time part seems
not work... weird.

That works OK, and doesn't set the camera clock an hour wrong as I'd
expect. The UK is currently on UTC+0100 because of DST.

PS Using 'gphoto2 --set-config syncdatetime=1' also fails.
