Hi,

Please see below debugging information for Canon PowerShot ELPH 350 HS,
which does not appear to work with gphoto2.

$ gphoto2 --capture-image


*** Error ***
Sorry, your camera does not support generic capture
ERROR: Could not capture image.
ERROR: Could not capture.
*** Error (-6: 'Unsupported operation') ***


$ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0424:ec00 Standard Microsystems Corp. SMSC9512/9514
Fast Ethernet Adapter
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0424:9514 Standard Microsystems Corp.

Hi,

I have added the USB ID to git.

As all current Powershot cameras remote controlled capture is not supported by the firmware.
